J:Sonic feat Jon Fitz & Abigail Bailey "Release the pressure"

E' uno dei più bei dischi in circolazione attualmente. Ma devo anche dire che il produttore, lo batte in bellezza ^_^ Sto parlando di Jason Herd (bellissimo) che sotto lo pseudonimo J:Sonic ha pubblicato di recente (fine maggio) questo splendido vinile: "Release the pressure" con Jon Fitz e Abigail Bailey. Ho specificato "di recente" perchè in realtà, non si tratta dell'ultimo lavoro in ordine temporale, di JH. Proprio un paio di settimane fà, nella Pure House ho proposto "You can't stop the groove" (Release:10'06'04 ultimo lavoro di JH) dall'Ep "Summer Beats" con la voce di Krysten Cummings... ma non ha resistito quanto "Release the pressure". Proprio perchè ritengo che quest'ultimo possa fare molta molta più strada. Dopo le prime battute introduttive, pare che un'orchestra intera si metta a suonare per questo disco dal basso ben costruito e strutturato. La voce della Bailey completa quella che ritengo una vera e propria opera d'arte, di cui la chitarrina gitana è la "genialata" :) Progressione garantita e in pista puo' fare macelli (magari provatelo e poi ditemi ^_^). Tempo fà, nella Pure House ho ospitato anche "Feelin Love" sempre di JH, altro capolavoro... mentre per quel che riguarda il futuro, occhio anche a "I just can't get enough" realizzato con l'inseparabile Jon Fitz, uscito anch'esso a fine maggio e contenente il sample del classico di Kariya "Let me love you for tonight". Viene visto dal team di JH (nonchè dal team della FourFour Promotion) come il must di questa estate... ma io continuo a preferire "Release the pressure" :) Ah... tutti progetti citati, escono sulle sue due label, J:Funk e J:Soul ("Release the Pressure" è su Subliminal Soul). A Manchester... non si gioca solo a calcio ^_^

Mendonca do Rio: piccola soddisfazione :)

Questa è la Los 40 del 26 giugno 2004....

...nuova entrata in 35^ posizione, il disco che ho segnalato in un articolo
scritto il 4 maggio Ovviamente riconfermo le mie impressioni sul
disco...ed è una piccola soddisfazione vederlo entrare dopo un mese e1/2,
in una chart importante :) Chi ne sa di piu' circa il passaggio di label?
