I Bah Samba tornano sempre con qualcosa di speciale

Il remix di Richard Earnshaw è veramente strepitoso;
daltronde è un ottimo lavoro quello fatto da Fresh 27,
soprattutto sulla vocal line, affidata a Robina.
Il secondo remix che scelgo senza alcun dubbio,
è il Noiseburst, anche se a pari merito ci sarebbe l'ElektroOrganik.
...insomma, è bello tutto, questo vinile! :D

Brani di una bellezza deep come questo, se ne producono pochi. Pochissimi davvero.
Mi inchino dinanzi ai Liquid People (Dan Smith & Conan Manchester),
agli Afromento per l'ottimo latin mix...ma soprattutto dinanzi al mio adorato
KARIZMA (K2 Rmx). Questo ragazzo di Baltimora è speciale.
Io non so cos'è che mi accade, ma quando ascolto la sua deep
mi sembra di essere immersa nel mare a 50 metri di profondità.
Questo disco è una perla (volendo restare in tema)

Dan, poco fa, mi ha ricordato che avrei dovuto osannare, senza
ulteriormente esitare, il ritorno del duo francese Cassius con "Toop Toop".
Son dei fenomeni :) Mi piace moltissimo la versione originale ed il remix di
Olivier Koletski, una bomba che, vagamente, somiglia ad "I'm a woman".
Toop Toop, nella versione originale ed integra, la si può ascoltare sul
my space di questi "due amici francesi che fanno musica per vivere meglio".

E' un disco davvero carino! So che ha raggiunto proprio in questi giorni,
i vertici di molte classifiche dance in Italia (si può dire "dance"?).
Ricca e ben costruita la versione T&F vs Moltosugo,
K.P. Dub di grande impatto, Zeta Dub che ottimamente completa il package.
Moony è tornata a riscuotere successo come ai primi tempi? :)
Ad ogni modo, attendo di ascoltare i vinili su Airplane con i remix,
ad esempio il "Nari & Miami T".

"Remember", tribute track meravigliosa come anche l'interpretazione di Jovonn.
Questo Ep è uscito a fine giugno su Real Tone, ma contestualmente
c'è da segnalare anche un promo per la Seasons
"The Chase Ep", dal sapore più afro. Credo che Franck Roger resti tra
i produttori deep più busy :) Consiglio un salto sul suo myspace,
se non altro per prendere nota dei suoi "Friend Space" iiihihihih
(peccato per quel che dice su Zidane, ma vabbè, la musica va oltre)

Marzo 2006: la Elementary Group pubblica
"Inhouse Ep", l'ultimo lavoro di Todd Terry
il quale preferisce restare saldamente ancorato alle vecchie atmosfere
che lo hanno incoronato Re della House, fra pochissimi altri.
Estate 2006: Kenny Dope remixa una delle tracce più belle di questo Ep,
"Sunday morning". Provate a star fermi! :D Traccia davvero favolosa :))
E' un CDR di cui la EG ne prevede l'uscita ufficiale il 18 settembre.
Per il momento, sarà una bomba estiva nelle mani di pochi rinomati Dj ;)

Mah... il remix di Axwell&Angello onestamente mi trova
quasi indifferente; a 'sto punto, viva l'originale.
La differenza, all'orecchio meno allenato, parrebbe impercettibile.
Probabilmente, a causa del pezzo famoso coverizzato
"Small town boy", avrà discreto successo (so che in Svezia e UK è già hit)
...ma m'aspetto qualcosina in più per quest'estate e soprattutto dalla coppia
Axwell/Angello. Ad esempio, cosa ne pensate di queste tracce:
